The Rev. Nathaniel Darville comes to St. Peter’s from Pike Road, Alabama, where he was rector of Grace Episcopal Church. Along with him, he brings his wife, Rheagan, an environment lawyer, eight year old son Lawrence (Wren), four year old son, Julien (Jule), and brown lab mixes, Nico and Ziggy. Fr. Nate was born and raised in Upstate New York, the son of two Assemblies of God ministers. He found his way into the Episcopal Church as a freshman in college, and was confirmed a few years later. In 2006, he moved to New York City to work in hospital administration. It was while he was living in Brooklyn that he met his wife. Shortly before the birth of their first child, Rheagan and Nate moved to the south, eventually settling in Birmingham, Alabama. There they became active in an Episcopal parish, which eventually led Nate to enter the process of discernment in the Diocese of Alabama. He was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Kee Sloan in 2018.

Fr. Nate has a Bachelor’s Degree in the Classics from Asbury College, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Seminary, a Master of Sacred Theology from Union Seminary at Columbia University, and a Diploma in Anglican Studies from the University of the South School of Theology. Fr. Nate is a student of history with a fascination for U.S politics, a die hard Mets fan, an amateur coffee roaster, and a recreational long distance runner. Nate and Rheagan love traveling with their two dogs and two sons.

Eileen Andersen
Parish Secretary
Email Eileen at andersen@stpetersef.org

Eileen, a long-time member of St. Peter’s, began work on the Staff in 1992, and became Parish Secretary in 1997. She is the friendly voice at the other end of the phone during office hours (Tues-Thurs), prepares the Sunday worship bulletins, sends notices to volunteers, deals with myriad forms and the other duties that collect around a person who manages a parish office. Residing in West Caldwell, Eileen has raised three sons and now has six granddaughters, and enjoys her interactions with people in the Parish. “There is so much to like about St Peter’s–especially the way people care for each other.”

Dana Leach
Sunday School Director
Email Dana at leach@stpetersef.org

Dana’s involvement with our children’s Christian education goes back almost two decades, shortly after she and her family came to Saint Peter’s and her two boys were baptized here. Like so many teachers, her special delight is “… all that I learn from the children.” After many years teaching Sunday School, she became Sunday School Director in 2014. She organizes the program year and lessons for our three class levels, recruits and trains teachers, keeps the classrooms supplied and communications timely. Dana also recruits children for the monthly “Family Church” service and guides them as they usher, read, and participate in multiple aspects of the service.
